Il Pianzio is the story of four generations. A unique, exclusive history that belongs to us and which we jealously preserve.
Nature has given us the gift of an extraordinary territory, the Euganean Hills, and it is with this awareness that we cultivate our vines with full respect for tradition and the environment.
At the helm are the two brothers, Vittorio and Guglielmo, flanked by their wives Mariagrazia and Marzia, who since the late 1980s have continued the skilful work handed down by their ancestors.

Over the years, the search for quality has been placed in the foreground, together with the safeguarding of the territory, taking care of the vineyards as if they were an integral part of the family.
For several years now, the fourth generation has also been making an increasingly active contribution to the company.
First and foremost, Nicola, the eldest of the four grandchildren, who, following his oenological studies, has in turn contributed to the improvement of wine processing and ageing techniques.
A simple family, but proud of its origins, which seeks to transmit its values from the Valle del Pianzio.

We work a total of 17 hectares of property, 13 of which are vineyards, all in the municipality of Galzignano Terme and 1.5 of olive trees, most of them centuries old.
The vineyards are partly located in what is known as the Valle del Pianzio (the winery’s headquarters), which is particularly suited for white wines with predominantly marly soils rich in red flakes.
The others are subdivided into three other parcels (Crù) -three other areas- scattered throughout the municipality, where the soil composition and sun exposure give rise to particular microclimates, for each of which the most suitable vine variety has been identified. We produce DOC and DOCG wines typical of the hilly area that have won several awards for their quality at local wine events and beyond.
We can boast, also thanks to this, of belonging to sector associations of reference for the Euganean area such as the Consorzio di tutela Vini DOC, the Strada del Vino Colli Euganei and the Movimento Turismo del Vino.
