COLLI EUGANEI DOC – ROSSO

This wine represents the most genuine Euganean tradition. The predominant grapes in this so-called “Bordeaux-style” blend are Merlot and Cabernet in both Sauvignon and Franc variants and a small percentage of Raboso to respect tradition.
Tasting notes

The wine is bright ruby red to the eye. The nose has a good complexity with a succession of vegetal, floral and fruity notes. You can pick up blueberry, black pepper, rose, light notes of almost roasted pepper and violet. Final notes with a mineral undertone and dried flowers, balsamic memories and sweet spices such as clove.

On the palate it offers softness and freshness, with tannin present but soft. Pleasant for autumn and winter aperitifs and for the whole meal.

Pairing

Pleasant for autumn and winter aperitifs and for the whole meal.

It goes well with meat dishes such as bigoli with duck or hare ragout, roasts and grilled meats, cheeses and cured meats. Also with tripe in red.
