PROSECCO DOC – EXTRA DRY

The origin of Prosecco is still debated today. According to some it comes from the village of Prosecco in the province of Trieste, according to others from the Euganean Hills. The fact remains that Prosecco wine, with the new inter-regional Veneto – Friuli DOC, has become the largest and most important Italian Denomination, whose name and origin are already known on five continents. The basic grape variety for the production of Prosecco is glera.
Tasting notes

Fine, numerous and persistent bubbles with a pale straw-yellow colour. The nose is striking for its fruity and floral notes with hints of apple, broom and a delicate citrus fruit.

The palate, very consistently, offers a fresh, savoury sip with a creamy bubble that brings cleanliness.

Pairing

Light-bodied and smooth, it is a wine that goes well with delicate fried foods, fish dishes (shellfish and crustaceans) and carletti or nettle risottos.

Ideal for toasts in company, from aperitifs to meals.
